You and Meriden keep playing husband/wife... haha, you 2 are the best of friends and I love watching you play pretend. You love "scripture power" and help us remember to read everyday. Jeffie boy you're getting so good at riding your green balance bike and like to spend most of your day on it... in the house. You still are having accidents every few days and you still jump, pounce and many other things to poor Ephraim... but soon you'll grow out of it. You took a battery of all things from Meriden's preschool teacher's house today and you came and confessed to me later. Your heart is so pure and good. You think so clearly that you assume everyone loves you and wants to be your friend and they do. I admire you. You love to help me and are so willing to do everything you possibly can to be my helper from putting dishes away, helping me cook, grabbing a diaper for Ephraim, etc. I love you my Jeffie so very much!

CALVINIST OR BAPTIST? BY STEVE FINNELL
ReplyDeleteIs it possible to be a Baptist and reject all five points of John Calvin's T.U.L.I.P? Of course not.
Total Depravity: All men are born totally depraved because the the original sin of Adam and not capable of responding to the gospel.
Unconditional Election: God predestined all who will be be saved and all who will be lost and nothing can change that fact.
Limited Atonement: Christ only died for those on God's predestined list of the saved.
Irresistible Grace: God sends the Holy Spirit to those He wants to save so they will believe and be saved. All the saved have been forced to believe.
Perseverance of the Saints: Once saved you can never be lost.
To reject one of John Calvin's five points of salvation is to reject them all.
I know of not one Baptists who rejects all of the T.U.L.I.P points. To believe in perseverance of the saints you must embrace all five points of Calvinism.
